ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships - Debrecen, Hungary - March 14-20, 2016

Canadian skaters are among those from around the world competing in the final event of the international junior skating season. The schedule/entries results are available from the official ISU site.

CBC has been providing live streaming of the free skates in each discipline and there will be TV coverage on the CBC Road to the Olympics series on Saturday, March 19th and Saturday, March 26th (check local schedules).

After failing to qualify for the free skate at the 2015 Junior Worlds, Nicholas Nadeau, Canada's only representative in the 2016 men's event, had an excellent free skate and moved up from 9th after the short program to take the silver medal. His success has earned Canada three spots for the 2017 Junior Worlds! Skate Canada has posted an article about this.

In the pairs event one of Canada's 3 teams, McLean & Michaud, had to withdraw before the free skate after Hope suffered an injury in practice. The other two teams finished 7th and 8th as reported by Skate Canada.
